Terrifying, and bitter, and horribly, horribly true.
One of my MA students from last year came by to say hi today, and give me random gifts (tea! she knows me well), and a pep talk about getting the hell out of this admin job. I'm feeling a bit chastened all round. Tonight, however, we have an extremely upmarket Salty Cracker at The Roundhouse, which ought to console me for a whole damned lot.
