The milk, natch. Mermaids are very definitely mammals.

Car is now fixed. There was water not only in the distributor cap, but in the carburettor too. The nice mechanic man said it must have been quite a puddle. (It was. I'm not sure there wasn't a lost civilisation or two down there. And Deep Ones).
