Good lord, what a useful man you are. You were absolutely correct: both drainage holes were stuffed solid with what used to be leaves and plane-tree seeds, but are now a rather beautiful, rich, bosky compost. If I had several sacks of it I could probably grow triffids. Now I have holes where holes should be, draining neatly over the bulkhead, and hopefully all will be gas and gaiters. Thank you!
