I've been doing CBT and part of my homework has been keeping mental score of things I've done in a week, no matter how arbitrary.
Head-voice says "lazy, useless", critical thinking says "fuck you! Look at this pile of clean laundry, that nursery bag packed every night, those vegetables growing in pots, those name labels ironed into baby clothes!" Babies are remarkably good for depression, they provide a seemingly endless stream of mom-chores to keep me feeling productive 😋
