There are wind turbines dotted seemingly randomly about the landscape in the Netherlands and in Germany. I have not seen any wind "farms" yet, it's all these solitary giants surrounded by meadows of cows and whatnot.

There are many power companies here and one gets to choose which one supplies one's power. We use one which only uses wind, solar and bio energy. It's a really nice opportunity to have.
