We are indeed surviving, in no small part, I reckon, due to the fact that Husband retired, after 41 years continuous paid employment (which I realise is something in itself these days) about a week before Lockdown Mk1.
Fortunately he had all those piles of Official Paperwork which had been 'put aside until I have the time to deal with them' to keep his mind occupied!
This time round he's better able to cope, poor man.
But yes, agree with you entirely about the shambles. Even more glad we don't live Across the Pond! At least we have an NHS, despite years of cutbacks. Hoping and praying the Labour Party can get themselves into at least a semblance of an Opposition and Credible Alternative to this money-grabbing lot!
