hothothot

Good lord, but Cape Town is HORRIBLE at the moment. Temperatures around 35. I am a small, limp, melted puddle of thing. Admittedly, the headache/sore throat side order isn't helping any. Dinner in Primi Piatti last night was pleasant, but hot, unmitigated even by salads and frozen margaritas. Additionally, I have discovered in myself a devastating aversion to iceberg lettuce. It's weak and watery. Cos or butter, or nothing, say I!

My good friend Mich made my horrible heat-stressed day by sending me this. The Zogg are among us! Draining humans of their spinal nectar will build strength! Death to the Little Golden Book About God!

Have not played any ShadowMagic today, yay! Have not done any chapter updating today, boo! Have done DT and arbled around the library looking up stuff on medieval romance for my unsuspecting students. They are so getting Chretien de Troyes. Heh! So, overall score, sort of neutral. Things have been achieved, if not the things I should really have been achieving at the times I should have been achieving them. Story of my life.

When I click on The Cuddly Menace I am prompted to download something. I do not download stuff unless I am sure of its content, and I am not, here. Am I just not getting through to the URL, or am I actually supposed to download files?

Tracy

hmmm

Interesting - it doesn't do that for me, it goes straight to the intro page. It's a frame page, is that possibly making a difference? Darned Web.

hoy!

the zogg are indeed upon us.

the scary thing: i thought the illustrations may have been altered (evil death ray eyes and all) but it's really like that (http://w3.goodnews.net/~kkrugh/books/golden%20book%20about%20god/golden%20book%20about%20god.html). brr.

in other news, very very happy you have a blog. you have been linked. like the purple. (and like the fact you've managed to get your comments to look pretty too!)

I know too many Jos. Which Jo? Say, friend, and enter!

Yes, the pictures are very, very scary, for good and sufficient reason that they're not meant to be scary at all. Evidently the Zogg are among us. Pair-bond only with fellow Zogg! Use negarays to vaporize humans who uncover our plans!

Post-Tsunami Jo! How are you and The Man? Have been trying to read Travemovedy, but it gave me an entertaining couple of days of content consisting entirely of error messages, so I haven't for a bit. Will mosey on over and catch up. Glad you like the purple. Mmmm, purple.

Woe! Neither travemovedy nor smoczek are acknowledging their own existence, shy little things. Server probs?

What a pity that doesn't come as a real book, I'd get it for Emma.

Karen will of course kill me...

"Wear hats to hide budding Pineal antenna" - is there something Tracy isn't telling us?

good lord, you're right!

What an enchanting idea, to have it as an actual book. Almost reconciles me to the burgeoning hordes of babies in my immediate environment. And, yes, Tracy's hats suddenly take on a deeply sinister resonance. We shall have to examine her eyes for negarays.
