As of today, I own a house in France. I don't see any rental from it while my dad's still alive (it was an inheritance-tax-dodging transfer), but it still feels very strange.

We leave for the UK tomorrow morning, early. The last job I have to do tonight is to dismantle the computer, so farewell, internets! librsa, if you're reading this, we have a coffee date in Sherborne, stat.

Good lord, you lot are rocking the stereotypes, aren't you? I can safely say I had nary a croissant, bicyclette or beret while in France. Yesterday, however, we passed a man in a beret on a bicycle, with two baguettes under his arm. He was wearing a stripey shirt.

Out of all of the above, that I might actually do. Also, in fact, the chocolate croissants, although I suspect it's considered cheating to slather normal croissants in Nutella.

Totally true: I have a Chat Noir in my kitchen. It is surely a sign of impeccable taste...as is anything smothered in nutella...well except nutella on carrot sticks (I have no excuse expect pregnancy for that one!)
