One of which, if I recollect, involved the incredible significance of my washbasket being outside in the rain. I'm beginning to think that the weird dreams are cyclical and PMT-related, actually. Darned hormones.
I'm not sure if it was the sleep-lack that made tonight's singing practice particularly trippy. One of the drawbacks of the singing group is that it has an unnaturally high preponderance of mathematicians, ex-mathematicians, physicists and astronomers. This means that the basses broke the guildmistress's brain this evening with the concept of a time signature in pi/4. Although, in retrospect, this may simply have been a convoluted insult aimed at our collective timekeeping abilities...
Anyone read any sf by Gwyneth Jones? I found a second-hand copy of Phoenix Café the other day, and it's blowing my mind. She produces the most astonishingly dense, layered, political and imaginative world, and I've never even heard of her. Bad sf teacher, no biscuit.
