Quick heads-up - anyone wishing to contact me reliably by e-mail at the moment may care to use my Gmail account rather than my personal domain one, since the domains are currently embroiled in a labyrinthine hosting transfer in which my personal techno-jinx is making merry with the nameservers. Poor stv tears his hair and groans. The personal domain stuff is getting through on the old nameservers, but only in a patchy, random and unpredictable fashion, so use it only if you like to gamble.

Gmail is firstname.surname@gmail. The Iafrica account is deader than the dodo, please stop prodding the corpse.

In a later post I will attempt to deal with my horror at the news that the next season of Doctor Who will be partially devoid of Martha, and will replace her with Donna (the Catherine Tate character from the Christmas special). It seems to me a perfect and horrible example of fixing something that wasn't broken. Pshaw.
