2000 words of this Tolkien paper, is what. Almost, possibly, it begins to have a sort of a maybe coherent shape. Which is useful, since I need to submit it on Monday. It has achieved that sudden downhill momentum which means the ideas have fallen into shape, so I'll probably kill it tomorrow without too much hassle. *sharpens implements of destruction*

Isn't it amazing how much one can achieve under the electric cattle-prod of a looming deadline?
