Opinion is divided on this one, although Google pulls in twice as many hits for "Masters" as it does for "Master's", and university sites also seem divided. While the contraction of "Master's degree" would require a possessive, I've always tended to see "Masters" as a more or less colloquial approximation of "Master of Arts." Unless it's "Marsters", in which case mmmm Spike.
