ooh, that's interesting, I've never heard of that treatment, I must try it! I take slow-release magnesium at night, which helps me sleep and stops my ankles from swelling (weird but true) and since I've been doing that I've had far less problem with foot and calf cramps, but serious stress + weird cat sleeping positions can still spark them. I suspect a lot of my current stress problems would be addressed by a stiff gin and tonic every evening...
