During the course of this morning I have:
  • Survived a first-period tut despite being a shuffling zomboid thing after a really bad night filled with nightmares of, for some reason, people being cut in half, vertically;
  • Read "Order of the Stick" from cover to cover (metaphorically speaking), although I insist that this is in no way related to the previous item;
  • Found a most entertainingly cynical discussion of folk ballad wisdom here;
  • Marked 2.5 essays.

It is a webcomic about roleplaying. It's mostly in-jokes about D&D. :)

Hmmm, not very friendly. I regard reading my friend's blogs as almost having a face to face conversation with them. Next time one of them uses a term I don't know, I'll leave the room to find a dictionary, shall I, instead of straight out asking them.

Apologies to those I offended by my rude and stupid question, obviously sufficiently rude as to require being sworn at.

Play nice, strawberry! Auto-google isn't necessarily a reflex for those of us who still have dial-up in the wilds of SA, and it wasn't clear from my post that it was an online thing. (I would have linked it, but yesterday's headache rendered me barely functional).

Sorry - I find JFGI rather amusing. Google knows all. Even things that aren't "online things" will be mentioned somewhere online, in wikipedia or the like. That goes quadruple for nerd humour.

If google knows them not, then do they actually exist?

Oy! Peace, bumpy! There will be no face-punching among the Witterers, please. Particularly since weird posting delays have caused that comment to be addressed to me, which I devoutly hope was not the intention... :>

Actually, I think it was the (off-screen) dwarf sex (http://www.giantitp.com/cgi-bin/GiantITP/ootscript?SK=82) that got me most...
