Possibly to me, on the grounds that at least the pain will stop.

Not quite sure I understand what you're trying to say. ;)

I also discovered that wireless Internet isn't exactly all it's cracked up to be. Eventually, after throwing away 1 wireless router in a fit of rage, I just plugged in some network cables and got my Internet working the old-fashioned way. :)

ps. Does your house have thick walls that can block the wireless signal? That's not good.

Walls shouldn't be an issue, the mini-aerial thingy is stuck to the window in the EL's study. He is looking into getting a proper aerial installed on the roof, though.

Weather balloon. It's the only solution.

Not nearly as many, but then he's using the connection mostly at night, when I also have fewer problems.

of course, it could simply be the poor little signal crawling exhaustedly down 10m of network cable between our computers... no wonder it gasps, faints and collapses so often.
