Today's randomly surreal subject line juxtaposition courtesy of Fark's "Obama = ?, Biden = ?, McCain = ?, Palin = ?" meme. They also suggest Palin might be a Pokemon card, an Ewok and the Comic Sans font.

Because I promised the Tea Readers: my favourite Obama pic to date is the one where he clearly gets an incredible kick out of being able to introduce his thrilled daughter to Bruce Springsteen. Not the least of Obama's attractive features is the fact that he's a doting and apparently excellent dad.

I promise I'll stop talking about the American election now. Maybe.

I did say "maybe". OK, I'm probably not going to stop talking about the American election, but at least I'm feeling sheepish about it.

Good fark, thank you. Did you notice how the (very) few pro-McPalin ones were completely unimaginative? Tells ya somethin'? You betcha!

The election may be over but there's no need to stop talking about Obama. He am legend.

Is hot topic and relevant to the world at large, don't stop, or even feel sheepish.

Interesting, looks like Obama is going to try keep up his online presence and use it to keep his ear to the ground/finger on the pulse/grassroots contact etc (or, for the more cynical, which I'm not btw, at least look like he's trying to).

Yes, his campaign's use of the internet and cellphone tech has been extremely canny. The Newsweek behind-the-scenes (http://www.newsweek.com/id/167582) campaign account has lovely details on this (as well as insight into the total disaster that was the McCain campaign).

Bonus Obama facts! He collects Spiderman comics and reads Harry Potter! (from here (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/uselection2008/barackobama/3401168/Barack-Obama-The-50-facts-you-might-not-know.html)).
