Today has been about the rushing around, including absolutely no progress whatsoever on the Evil Windows Instal of Dooooooooom! My mother is now on her way back to the UK. I miss her already. Shall distract myself with Random Linkery, the new craze.

• Snarkage. A peak-oil denialist is righteously snarked. Beautifully, good-humouredly, righteously snarked.
• Internettage. Dooce demonstrates the hideous power that is Twitter.
• Web comicry. Lovelace and Babbage. This comic's writer spends days trolling through contemporary Victorian diaries and writings to come up with the frankly incredible actual anecdotes on which she bases this amazingly lateral, funny, intelligent strip.
• Prawnage. Henry Jenkins discussing District 9's various media strategies.

Now very full of braai and gin and wine, shall go to bed and pretend tomorrow isn't Monday. 'Night.

oooh, wols! those are ridiculously adorable. I keep meaning to institute a weekly wol feature on this blog, but never actually get around to it. The world needs more wols.

I love the way posting random linkery incites people to post random linkery. It's so... random :>.
