This is beautiful, and atmospheric, and I want it. Kathleen Lolley is an American artist I discovered via Tor.com; she does strange, quirky, deceptively simple art featuring an awful lot of owls. She has an Etsy shop, at which I shall undoubtedly spend money sooner or later. Love these. Happy-making.

Hmmm, I dunno. The animation does indeed look good, but saccharine kiddy movies featuring anthropomorphised animals tend to get my goat a bit. The beak movements look all wrong when they talk. And the animal behaviour is usually up the pole big time. Penalties of being raised by an animal scientist :>.
